Feel Good is a series of ethical initiatives set up by Corporate Mobile Recycling Ltd and Fonehouse to promote mobile phone recycling and support local community projects. We have a number of campaigns surrounding the central theme of ‘Feel Good’, including the launch of the Foneclub scheme aimed at 28,000 schools, organizations and community groups nationwide. We hope to make ‘Feel Good’ a nationwide initiative that companies can instantly relate to and want to be involved with. Changing habits and asking people to do like wise will make you and your organisation ‘feel good’ too.
To commemorate 20 years of the mobile phone, Foneclub has provided The Design Museum with a collection of 15 mobile phone handsets which highlight key product design developments within mobile technology. These handsets will be used by the Design Museum for a series of educational workshops in 2007/2008. Pupils will be encouraged to consider both product design and sustainability factors. For more information on The Design Museum, visit

In addition to our work on community and recycling initiatives we also want our employees to ‘Feel Good’ about what we are doing. The Blue Room at the Design museum, with fantastic views of the Thames and Tower Bridge provided the perfect backdrop to showcase a series of artwork created by CMR staff and inspired by mobile phones and mobile phones recycling.
