recycling mobile phones for schools

We provide all of the publicity and marketing material required to encourage parents. friends and local businesses to give their unwanted phones to your scool or organisation. We then recycle these handsets on your behalf and have paid an average of £250 to schools taking part. Obviously the more handsets you collect, the greater the value to your school or organisation. Remember also to try and include local businesses or parents businesses in the scheme as these redundant corporate handsets will invariably be worth more.

Petersgate Infant School

Philip Hunt of Petersgate Infant School said 'Foneclub is a brilliant scheme, one I am delighted for the school to be involved with. We have always been an eco friendly school, with a passion for teaching the children about the environment they live within. This not only highlights the value of recycling and reusing items to the children, but also provides us with additional funds which can be used to help the school. It makes the whole process and rationale for recycling much more understandable and real to the children'

With the support of members of the Parent Teacher Association (POPs) this scheme was simple to administer. Add to that the help of children and friends who have been able to collect their own phones the scheme will benefit not only those children in school today, but also those who will join the school in the coming years.
