Philip Hunt of Petersgate Infant School said 'Foneclub is a brilliant scheme, one I am delighted for the school to be involved with. We have always been an eco friendly school, with a passion for teaching the children about the environment they live within. This not only highlights the value of recycling and reusing items to the children, but also provides us with additional funds which can be used to help the school. It makes the whole process and rationale for recycling much more understandable and real to the children'

With the support of members of the Parent Teacher Association (POPs) this scheme was simple to administer. Add to that the help of children and friends who have been able to collect their own phones the scheme will benefit not only those children in school today, but also those who will join the school in the coming years.
