recycling mobile phones for schools

We provide all of the publicity and marketing material required to encourage parents. friends and local businesses to give their unwanted phones to your scool or organisation. We then recycle these handsets on your behalf and have paid an average of £250 to schools taking part. Obviously the more handsets you collect, the greater the value to your school or organisation. Remember also to try and include local businesses or parents businesses in the scheme as these redundant corporate handsets will invariably be worth more.

Ewloe Green raise £1052

Tracey Hoad of Hinchley Wood says: "We decided that it would be a great idea to try and raise funds for our school by recycling mobile phones. What an easy task it turned out to be.. and we raised £441 for our school!

We access the Fonclub website for all the information we needed to start us up. Jessica at Foneclub sent us enough collection envelopes for each child to take home and we also sent parents a letter which explained what to do. Corporate Mobile Recycling also provided us with posters to put up around the school.

After only three weeks we had collected over 70 handsets. When we had finished our collection, all that we needed to do was box them up. Foneclub organised a courier to collect the box from our school and within a week we received our cheque. We were amazed by the response to our collection and very impressed with the funds raised for our school."
