Recycle your mobile phone and raise money for WaterAid

Recycling your mobile with WaterAid is an easy and cost free way to help change the lives of some of the world's poorest people.

WaterAid's mobile phone recycling scheme has been highly successful raising over £15,000 in 2008!

This tremendous amount, raised through mobile recycling could pay for all of the following and more!!!

  • A borehole providing water for 300 people in Burkina Faso
  • 15 school sanitation blocks (4 seater) for 100 children in India
  • A 20,000 litre rain water collection jar for a school or community institution in Uganda
  • 10 sewer connected toilets in urban areas in Nepal
  • A bicycle for one hygiene education volunteer in Nigeria
  • A technician to train 20 pump caretakers for 2 days on pump maintenance in Zambia
  • Organising a video movie show on hygiene for 50 people in Sindh in Pakistan
  • 20 toolkits to maintain a village water point in Bangladesh
  • Enough bags of cement to produce 100 latrine slabs in Nepal/Ghana
