Recycle your mobile phone for Oxfam

For over 60 years, Oxfam has been working with organisations around the world to find lasting solutions to poverty and injustice. Currently, we work in more than 70 countries – including the UK – and respond to an average of 30 emergency situations each year.

Oxfam’s work includes development, campaigning and advocacy at the highest level, lobbying international organisations and influencing governments. Because in a world rich in resources, there’s enough to go around. Poverty isn’t unfortunate, it’s unfair.

£700,000 raised for Oxfam and counting…

Corporate Mobile Recycling has worked with Oxfam for over 7 years collecting mobile phones from Oxfam’s 750 high street shops, Oxfam’s individual and corporate supporters and 2,000 Co-operative outlets.

During the last financial year (2007 / 8), we raised £166,000 for Oxfam which is enough to fund Oxfam’s Education Programme in Tanzania for one year. This project aims to make good quality primary education available by training teachers, providing libraries and resource centres and increasing the number of children in primary education.
